Kimberly Swartz, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Practice Owner/Board-Certified Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Hello! I’m Kimberly, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over two decades of experience in healthcare. My professional journey has taken me from the fast-paced world of emergency nursing to the deeply personal and transformative field of mental health care—a path that has shaped my approach to healing, resilience, and human connection.
I work with individuals ages 10 and up, providing compassionate, evidence-based treatment for a wide range of mental health conditions. These include depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, OCD, insomnia, alcohol use, and eating disorders. I’m committed to tailoring treatment plans to the unique needs of each person I serve—offering medication management, education, and support within a collaborative, person-centered framework.
My academic background includes a nursing degree from Kettering College, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ohio University, and a Master of Science in Nursing from Northern Kentucky University. These experiences have strengthened both my clinical foundation and my dedication to lifelong learning and growth.
At the heart of my practice is a holistic philosophy—I believe healing involves the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. My work is grounded in the belief that mental health care should be approachable, empowering, and free from judgment. I strive to create a therapeutic environment where you feel safe, seen, and supported—whether you're navigating a recent life transition, processing past trauma, or managing long-term mental health challenges.
I am especially passionate about reducing the stigma surrounding mental health. Everyone deserves to feel understood and validated in their experience, and my goal is to walk alongside you as a steady, compassionate partner on your journey to wellness.
Outside of work, I find joy in traveling with my family, playing golf, camping, and spending time outdoors. Nature is one of my favorite places to recharge, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most.
If you're looking for a provider who offers thoughtful, respectful, and whole-person care—you’re in the right place. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your path to healing and growth.

Dual Certified Family & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Hi, I’m Alicia.
With over 28 years in healthcare and 23 years as a Registered Nurse, I bring a deep well of experience and compassion to my practice. My background is diverse—ranging from cardiology, pediatrics, teen pregnancy, and postpartum care to lactation support, surgical care, home health, education, military triage, family medicine, urgent care, and psychiatry.
I earned my Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain University, then expanded my expertise by completing a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree at Wright State University. My clinical focus has always been rooted in community health and supporting individuals through a wide range of mental health challenges.
I'm especially passionate about women’s health, body positivity, PTSD, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, generational trauma, and grief—though I welcome and support clients facing any mental health concern. I’m committed to reducing stigma and often draw on psychological concepts like the “Let Them” theory and the power of resilience to help people move forward with strength and clarity.
I believe in holistic, inclusive, and nonjudgmental care. My goal is to meet each person where they are and provide a safe, supportive space for healing. I welcome people of all races, genders, and backgrounds, and I strive to help every client feel seen, valued, and empowered in their mental health journey.
As an ordained minister, I also integrate spiritual support into care when desired—encouraging personal reflection and self-discovery as part of the healing process. I bring warmth, humor, and positivity into my sessions because I believe that connection and trust are essential parts of recovery.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my two amazing children and our two dogs, Zeus and Zhara. I enjoy traveling, theater, art, music, nature, cooking, and getting lost in a good book.

Erica Cook MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Hi, I’m Erica
I’m Erica, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with over 20 years of experience in healthcare. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of settings—including long-term care, acute care, and inpatient mental health—which has given me a well-rounded perspective on patient needs and treatment approaches.
My passion for mental health grew from a genuine desire to support individuals as they navigate the complexities of their mental wellness journeys. This inspired me to advance my practice and specialize as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, where I could combine my clinical skills with a compassionate, holistic approach.
I believe in integrating therapy alongside medication management to provide care that addresses both the mind and body. My goal is to empower my clients with tools and support that foster resilience, growth, and lasting wellbeing. Every person’s path is unique, and I’m committed to partnering with my clients to help them achieve their mental health and personal wellness goals in a balanced, respectful, and empathetic environment.
Lauren Manning, CT
Counselor Trainee
Hi, I’m Lauren!!
I’m a counselor trainee graduating from Wright State University with a Master's in psychology in December dedicated to supporting individuals ages 10 and up, as well as couples, through life’s many transitions and challenges. My passion lies in walking alongside clients as they navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, stress, low self-esteem, communication struggles, and women’s issues. I also help clients strengthen emotional regulation, build confidence, and improve conflict resolution skills—both in personal and interpersonal settings.
My therapeutic approach blends structure and creativity. I primarily draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Theory, art therapy and mindfulness practices, but I also believe in tailoring therapy to the individual. For some, that means incorporating holistic tools or expressive elements like art, journaling, or guided reflection. These approaches can be especially helpful for younger clients and those who benefit from nonverbal or creative expression.
As a counselor-in-training, I bring a fresh perspective, up-to-date clinical knowledge, and a strong desire to connect with and understand the people I work with. I am currently completing my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling and receive close supervision from licensed professionals. This team-based support ensures that your care is grounded, thoughtful, and continually informed by best practices in the field.
Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and I believe that healing happens when people feel genuinely seen, heard, and valued. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where you can show up exactly as you are—without fear of judgment. I approach each session with warmth, openness, and a deep respect for your lived experience.
Whether you’re exploring therapy for the first time, returning after a break, or looking for a creative and supportive space to grow, I would be honored to work with you.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time in nature, camping, creating art, and being with family. I find joy in the little things and believe that connection—whether with others or with yourself—is one of the most powerful tools for healing.
